Emmanuel Adebayor kept up his record of scoring in every league game this season as Manchester City won 1-0 at Portsmouth.

The Togo striker has now set his sights on the clash with former club Arsenal in a couple of weeks.

"My confidence is very high," he told Sky Sports 1.

"I want to keep on enjoying myself, keep scoring goals for this club - especially as I will play against all my old friends - Gael Clichy, Alex Song, Emmanuel Eboue.

"It will be a tough game for us. We know how good Arsenal are. I think if we play with this motivation we have a chance to win because we are playing at home."

The former Gunners forward is delighted with how his City career has started.

"When I came here all the players were working hard," he said.

"They believed in my strength, they believed in my ability.

"At the moment I'm just working hard for the team and for the club. We have played three games and won three games so we're very happy. We want to keep on going, keep on enjoying ourselves on the pitch."
