AC Milan want Babel in Liverpool bid for Huntelaar

Liverpool are closing in on a deal for AC Milan striker Klaas Jan Huntelaar.

Corriere dello Sport says Huntelaar was not at Milanello on Wednesday, leading to further belief his future is away from Milan.

And should the deal with Liverpool take off, Milan will press for Ryan Babel as part of negotiations.

Everton are also said to be tracking the Rossoneri striker, but the lure of Anfield is likely to prove pivotal in his decision.

On Tuesday Huntelaar was reportedly in Manchester, leading to speculation linking him with Manchester City and Manchester United.

Ryan Babel + £2m will do and our new no.11 will be Klaas Jan Huntelaar! and eventually no.6 goes to Ever Banega! For our no.3 should it be Wayne Bridge? Reto Ziegler? Marcell Jansen? Danijel Pranjic? or Royston Drenthe?
