AC Milan hope for loan deal for Man City winger Robinho
AC Milan hope to close a deal for Manchester City flop Robinho today.
The Sun says the San Siro giants sent power-broker Mino Raiola to negotiate a loan deal with Manchester City — with a fixed transfer fee to be paid next summer.
Milan president and Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi confirmed the interest in wantaway Robinho.
He said: "If a certain player interests us and is functional to our needs then we will be ready for another hit. If it was up to me I would take Robinho."
Raiola acts as agent for Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who left Barcelona to join Milan at the weekend. The Rossoneri will have to cough up £20million to Barca for the Sweden striker next summer.
The Italians hope to agree a deal where they pay City a similar amount for Robinho next summer.
