AC Milan coach Max Allegri is convinced they're on the up after victory over Parma.

Andrea Pirlo's thunderbolt was the only goal of the game.

“It is very nice to see the table right now,” smiled the Coach on Sky Italia television.

“It was a wonderful goal, one of the best I’ve seen. Mind you, when I was a player, the ball was heavier...

“The team did very well, created a lot of scoring opportunities and held out firm when Parma came out of their shell.

“This Milan side has the potential to create a great many chances. We fell asleep a little bit after the break, even if we still could’ve scored more.”

Allegri has continually switched his tactics and personnel with a diamond midfield finding Clarence Seedorf a new role.

“It isn’t a definitive issue, it just depends on how I read each game. I think Ronaldinho did well, especially when we managed to go on a quick counter.

“The important thing was to win tonight, as it was crucial for the table and our self-esteem.”
