Bologna president Joey Saputo retains hope of keeping hold of Thiago Motta.

Saputo was asked about his coach's future after Monday's 3-3 draw with Juventus.

“We will do meet him this week and do everything to continue this journey," said Saputo as fans celebrated qualifying for the Champions League.

“To be honest, I still can't even think of us in the Champions League! We worked so hard, but getting here was the easy part, staying there will be more difficult. We have everything it takes to continue this journey together.

“I said when I came here that it was very important to bring Bologna back to the top, but I knew it would take time and the fans were always so supportive throughout."
