Aguirre leaves Mallorca future wide open

Javier Aguirre has left his future at Real Mallorca wide open.

A draw against Almeria secured Mallorca's Primera status for next season. But Aguirre admits he will be considering his options.

The Mexican said: “Right now what I'm thinking about is having a beer with my wife in the player's lounge, and I have a good whisky at home. I have a lot of respect for tequila, because I was saying to your colleague, on my last birthday I went overboard on tequila, and for the first time in my life, it gave me a hangover, and I don't wish that on anybody.

"So I have it there, but parked. The tequila I am punishing right now."

Aguirre added: “I am proud of everything that has happened to me in this club. There have been two anxious survivals, but this team deserves to play in the First Division, the Cup and the Super Cup. Whether I continue or not, it's not up to me."
